Rules for logo and wordmark usage.

Logo Lockup

The primary logo “locks up” two components: the symbol and the wordmark. This is the predominant visual expression of our brand. The symbol includes the iconic “Z-cloud”—reflecting Zscaler’s position as the company born in the cloud and built for scale—alongside the sans serif wordmark.

This version of the logo should be used when our brand is represented anywhere outside the Zscaler ecosystem (third-party blog, sponsors, collaborators, media, etc.). The symbol may be used as a graphic element to represent Zscaler and our products in diagrams and infographics.

Wordmark

Our Zscaler wordmark uses a sans serif typeface with rounded edges to communicate the simplicity and approachability of the brand. It must always be accompanied by a “TM” at the end.

Proportions

Our primary logo lockup is three times as long as the symbol. Use the “X” in the blue box below as reference.

Clear space

Clear space refers to the amount of room that the logo should have on all sides for optimal visibility and reduced clutter. It’s the minimum distance from the logo to other visual elements, such as text and graphics.

Across all Zscaler logo variations, the clear space should be half the size of the boxed “X” on all sides, as seen in the graphic below.

Color

Primary Palette

Positive

The logo may only be used in Core Blue.

Negative

The logo should be in white when used over colored backgrounds.

Black and White

With black or white backgrounds, the logo should only be white or black—whichever one contrasts the background.

Secondary Palette

​​The logo should be in white when used over colored backgrounds—living in negative space at all times.

Logo Size

Horizontal

For horizontal assets, the logo should take up one-fifth of the asset’s width.

Vertical

For vertical assets, the logo should take up one-third of the asset’s width.

For collateral pieces designed in-house, the symbol and wordmark cannot be used separately.
